An Interview

Tonight for Family Home Evening we did an interview of Miss K.

I am creating a scrapbook of this interview and it will include the Q&A, a picture, an outline of her hand, and a drawing of herself.

It's so much fun to find out the answers! Hopefully we can do this every 6 months on both girls and see how they grow and change. Right now, Ry's doesn't include a Q&A. She's super smart & advanced, but you know, we haven't quite reached the talking stage. But her's will include a "what I'm doing now" section, at 7 months she:

 

-crawls on hands & knees

-goes from lying down to sitting up

-loves to try to stand up or pull herself up

-mastered the "pincher grasp" at 6 months--basically on her first few tries of eating!

-loves to eat solid foods.

-loves to feed herself

-can drink out of a straw

-gives kisses

-and hugs

-kisses the baby in the mirror

-if you ask where mommy or daddy is she will look at them.

-no teeth yet

-loves to play peek-a-boo

-loves to put fabrics {blankets, clothes} over her face

-loves to turn on/off the xbox

-dances {bounces} when music is playing, or daddy plays guitar

-sings along to music

-says dada all the time

-happy all the time

-loves her big sister

-doesn't sleep through the night

-loves to slam her legs down when lying on her back

-still mainly sleeps on her back

-shakes her head no

-loves the bath, she could spend all day in there

-likes the wind, air, or fan to blow on her

-sweet and easy-going

When were you born? {runs to the kitchen calendar and talks, runs back} Tuesday! -actually it was a Thursday. But OK.

How old are you? Free {Three}

What does your mommy do? Go to the gym

What does daddy do? Homework

What's your favorite color? pink!

What do you want to be when you grow up? Spiderman!

What's your favorite food? Cereal {really? then why does it take you an hour to eat a bowl?}

What food do you not like? Poops. I don't like poops. {eww. that's not a food. thanks daddy}

Favorite animal: Giraffe, zebra, and monkey

Favorite vegetable: Carrots

Favorite drink: water {that's my girl!}

Favorite toy: game, dog game {no clue}

Favorite TV show: Dora {really girl? really?}

Where do you want to live when you grow up? The Jungle. It's my favorite.

What do mommy & daddy do after you go to bed? have popcorn {I can sense this question getting weird when she gets older. haha!}

Favorite Movie: Pocohauntus {eventhough she tries to watch the avengers every day}

Who is your Best Friend? Baby Sister

Favorite Book: animal one, with the pig {last one we read}

Who is your sister? Baby Ry

Where did baby Ry come from? She come from the hospital

What's your favorite thing to do? Playtime

If you could change your name, what would you choose? Grandma & Grandpa {because that makes sense}

Where do you want to go for vacation? the beach!

What makes mommy/daddy happy? {no answers}

What makes mommy sad: Scratching the movies

What makes daddy sad? playing loud.

If mommy was a cartoon character, who would she be? a doctor

Daddy? Mail carrier.

 

It was so much fun!

Besides her running around like crazy at times. typical.

And Ry wanting to eat the paper. also typical.

I can't wait to get those pages done and show you. I'm just going to use a 3 ring binder and page protectors. So an 8.5 x 11 format.

There are more questions, but more for older children. It will be fun when she can write and I make her write them. I'm excited!!

 

Elections are tomorrow, that is probably fueling my excitement.
