Just some pictures from my camera and some descriptions.
I have been having trouble with posting this and I couldn't put my finger on why....I wanted to, but didn't at the same time. Until I ran across my friend's blog here. She says she didn't want to blog after her husband's homecoming. This was, I believe his first deployment, so, first homecoming, and she says, "it really was so dear to my heart that its hard for me to share that part with anybody."
I can understand that.
I'm not going to go into too many details or share too many of the pictures. Trust me....there are TONS! But I see this as our family's own personal journal, and I am doing this for my friends and family that would like see.
It's hard because there are certain people that I hope never come across this blog, hence the fact that the old blog went private for a while. But as long as our family is safe, we will be public and we will share :)

I was up by 7, showered and hair in curlers by the time Jess and Tiffany got there. They said something about how calm I was, that they would have been nervous wrecks! LOL. yea. I can see that. I was more excited and more....just ready.

It was freezing!
Ok, not freezing, just so windy that it made it freezing. It was a gorgeous day, partly cloudy. Just so cold from the wind.
Brrrr.....Just thinking about it is making me cold. lol.

Our day started out early. Too early for me.
I knew I should've packed up my car the night before to cut off time. But that's okay.
Karson set off the fire alarm at about 1230 am, and it scared the butt outta me! He was saying something about a soccer ball and stuff. it was weird....and kinda funny.
Things got loaded up and we were off to the church to decorate by about 930. It was cold and slightly rainy.
Then, Andrew set off the church's fire alarm!
seriously??
yep!
It was loud and annoying.
The fire department ended up coming and we all got a good laugh.
Miss k kept herself busy by going through ma sani's bag.
Papa Lawrence was our ring leader....
Drew tried to keep me happy through all the stresses and craziness.
yep, there was a bit o that.
But we won't get into it :)
We eventually got most of the work done, and it was already time to get ready for my bridal shower.....which was at 630!!
what???
yes, it really took that long to decorate that cultural hall.....and it wasn't done. *sigh*
I was exhausted by this point.
I just wanted to relax and take a bath, sleep, get a massage, something!
A shower and getting make-up on helped.

So we headed over to Jaque's housefor a good party with great food!!

Amber put together this game of 20 questions, 10 about Drew, 10 about me and he answered the questions and I was supposed to get his answers correct. For every wrong answer I had to eat a very large gumball. Eventually, we went to half. LOL.....
but, I didn't get that many wrong. They were just that large. I think I got only 7 wrong. and 2 were Drew's fault, he answered them wrong in the first place! LOL
Then, sister young put together this awesome story with candy. It was hilarious. my basket was FILLED to the brim with all different candies! IT was awesome! I wish I had the time I would post the whole story....I will try, it was way too cute to not share! It was funny, and sweet, and just awesome.....i think i said that. lol.
That candy lasted a whole month! We ate it on our honeymoon, we ate it on our roadtrip, we ate it here in the apartment when we had very little food yet. lol.
My three beautiful girls! They did such an awesome job with everything! I am so glad they were there to help. I am so glad that they did all they did. They are amazing! I love them all!
This is Craig's photo from the wedding. We are standing with all of my family that came to the temple with us. It was an amazing experience. The day was great.
We are SO blessed!
I will post more photos later. We are busy, busy, busy with packing and doing so much stuff that it will eventually get done :) I promise.
Once I get all the photos together, there will be an amazing post!

Why am I thinking about this at 5 am?
I don't know.
I just can't sleep. I'm congested and very tired but I just lie here.
Food is definately on my mind. Plus wedding stuff.
Sleep would be lovely, we have church in tne morning!
So I'm trying not to freak out....
Buuuuut....
We still don't have a photographer.
seriously!!!
I feel like throwing up.
Lindsay, who did our engagement photos, is due to have a baby that next week and cannot do it. I am trying to not go to her, begging and pleading, crying.....please just do it for an hour or two. I trust her. I have seen her work and would be perfectly happy. (sigh)
But that's okay.
I have tried Sarah Fletcher, in DC. No luck. She is moving to London in 6 months and isn't doing any 2011 weddings. What? really? It cant be that hard.....Guess it is.
I have emailed 5 other photographers, no luck yet. One was about a week after we got engaged and she never even responded. rude. The others, I tried to contact just today, so I understand that.
I feel like I dropped the ball.
My Bad.
What am I going to do??
I pray a door will open somewhere. I pray it is also an inexpensive door. I pray that it can make me happy.
That would suck to not have good photos of this day. Or no photos.. . . ok, we would have some, but still. This is just one of the most important days of our lives.
We have waited and prepared for this day for a long time. A temple sealing has so much meaning and purpose. It is a very important part of Heavenly Father's plan for us. With it, our family can be together forever. With it, our children can also be sealed to us forever. Death doesn't need to be the end to our cherished relationships. Our marriage won't be "until death do us part," it will be eternal.
When I think of this, my worries about not having a photographer go away.
We are going to have fun that day. We are going to finally be a family. We will be complete. We will be so blissfully happy. We will be making and full-filling God's promises through our obedience, faith, and patience.
That is what matters! :)
In exactly one month we will be married!
We have the boys' suits, centerpieces are done, food has been arranged, cake is going to look great, and my dress is in the process of being perfected by my mom.
It is awesome!!
We.Are.SOooo.Excited!!
We cannot wait to have ourselves settled and to start our life together.
It's amazing. We are truly blessed. Heavenly Father truly loves us and answers our prayers.
