After a semi-long about 8 hour drive to cali...we made it!
we stayed at jared's aunt and uncle's house. It was SO nice of them to house us like that.
we hung out that night, played some games, ate some great food and got prepared for our adventures the next day...
we went walking down the star sidewalk!
there were lots of people.
then we stopped at the chinese theatre and saw the hand/footprints of the stars.
k couldn't quite get her's to fit into shirley temples. lol

my hand is the exact same size as hermionie's.....(emma watson to be precise)

us at the mall....can you see the TINY unfocused HOLLYWOOD sign in the background?? yeah i know... my face here? I'm actually pissed because I told this lady to go by so she didn't have to wait for us to take our pic....and she wasn't staring at me the whole time. ugh. hate that. but no she refused. so i felt rushed and was already irritable.

then we went down to the LA temple. We have a good friend who is serving a mission there in the LA visitor center area. We thought maybe we could run into her and say hi, give a hug. but nope.... so sad. we did leave a note for her. That was cool. I miss my Hermana Schumacher!
The temple is closed for renovations anyway so we couldn't go in. that's ok. nice to see it from the outside.
drew REALLY wanted to go to the beach, so we went to the Santa Monica pier. Of course, he didn't bring a suit. so we just walked the pier.

it was a really nice, warm day out. there was lots of people there.
the water was so pretty! such a great color.
she loved the water and beach.
she has a semi-obsession with birds. she always wants to touch them. she chases after them all the time. she never gets to pet them though.
we tested out this sandbox area. she did well in the sand. we had hope that tomorrow when we went to the beach she would do well.
