Body Fat Calculator

So, I'm trying to lose weight. again.
of course.
nothing new.
Just had a baby 5 months ago so the numbers aren't pretty. Pregnancy isn't nice to me, to say the least. I weighed in at 130 pre-baby #3. 171 {yes +41 lbs} the day before delivery and 170 on a 5 days post partum visit. Yep. Lost ONE whole freakin pound!!!
You wouldn't believe how pissed off I was. You know... aside from being incredibly sick from a UTI and Pre-eclampsia. The post-partum swelling was ridiculous. I had to take medicine to help with the BP and help to reduce the swelling. Then I got a terrible kidney infection. Sucked.
But here I stand today....145 {on a good day}. Not pretty on my 5'3 {ish} frame.
I wouldn't mind if it was all muscle.
it's not.
I wouldn't mind if it was in my butt more than in my belly and back. And love handles.
it's just not pretty.
I'm not happy.
Nothing fits. I can't even fit into my pre-pregnancy fat jeans.
I live in yoga pants. And scrubs. Thank goodness for having a job where you basically get to wear pjs to work! I have a few pairs of jeans I can wear, and the size? yeah, 11 or 12 makes me cringe. Ok, they do fall off me, but my body is just awkward.
I know it could be worse.
I know I should be happy the way that I am.
BS
Bottom line....
 I'm not.
 I'm allowed to want to make myself better. Make myself more in shape, more fit, more healthy.
So I took some measurements {why, oh why?!?}
About.com has a body fat calculator and I was curious....
Age:{ahem}30
Weight:145
Height: 62.5 in
Neck: 13 in
Waist: 38 in
Hips: 39 in
 {and just for kicks and giggles....Bust: 42 in  - btw: I was a G right after I had Gavin. A G!!!! way too much boob. I'm surprised I didn't topple over}

My results almost made me cry.
seriously.
My husband doesn't believe it.
According to that calculator, I'm obese.
WTF, man!!?!?!
But then I saw that put my height in inches and the rest in centimeters. It said I had 80% body fat!?!?!? HAHAHA. I'm slow.
But then I put it in correctly. Still Obese.
And I actually do cry.

3. Your Results:

Body Fat %: 40.96   Lbs/Kgs of Body Fat: 59.39  Lean Body Weight:  85.61

Great.
SO it starts now.
Clean eating {like actually being serious about it, with only one cheat meal a week--not turning it into a cheat week.} The hubby is more on board now than when I started in January {finally!!!! He is so not supportive when it comes to food. --sorry babe ;)}
We have done more juicing, adding that into the diet can only be a good thing {in my mind}
Plus, I'm still breastfeeding. And the boy's gotta eat! So I don't want to cut out nutrients as I'm cutting calories. Basically I just need to put my big girl panties on and show some self control. I'm not going to lie. I can eat. Like I can put away some food, eat more than my hubby eats. I'm not proud of it. I get it from my mama - thanks woman. {love ya mom!} But my metabolism isn't the best {remember my age, I'm getting old} and I haven't been exercising enough. It's just dang hard with 3 kids and two jobs and taking care of our house and everything else. Not gonna lie, sometimes I feel overwhelmed. But I need to really start making time for me. Otherwise I'm not going to start feeling better. And I'll just be more unhappy, and angrier. And lots of other stuff I don't want to get into....
I really want to be in the fitness and maybe even athlete range {yikes!}

 Goal: Drop from 40.96% body fat to less than 20%

yep. I already dropped it in half just as I'm typing this {remember that 80%?!?!}
It'll take time but I will get there eventually.
Hopefully sooner rather than later, though, right?

Gavin Oliver. A Birth Story...

....and a bunch of other stuff....
Yeah so, I haven't blogged in forever. Forever. Seriously. Ryleigh came and I started working part time again and then I got pregnant again. Seriously. That was unexpected. Haha, Ry was only 9 months old. Sooner than expected but that's ok. Great actually. It's not about our plans for our lives, it's about Heavenly Father's plan for us.
He knew we were ready.

So here we are...
Fast forward to October 17, 2013
Due Date
40 weeks pregnant
Induction date

I had been working full-time at two different jobs and needed to be back to work exactly 6 weeks later. Thanksgiving. It wasn't the best timing, we had to work with it. And I know that people might hate on me for being induced when it's not "medically necessary."
But.....there's more to the story. Everything happens for a reason. And I didn't just choose to be induced, I had a feeling the whole time that maybe something might go wrong. I was terrified. And honestly, those "feelings" matter more than anything else. I went 11 days over with both girls. 3 cm dilated and nothing else going on, for weeks. My body doesn't exactly work the way it needs to for some reason. It was frustrating with the girls. Super frustrating. Especially when you gain up to 50 lbs per pregnancy. No lie. But we'll get to that later....
Anyways....40 weeks and baby is healthy, big enough, head down, 3 cm dilated {called it too,}but fluid is kind of low. But that's ok.
I go into L&D at like 8 am and they hook me up to the pitocin and antibiotics for the group b strep. And we wait.
4 hours of antibiotics later, an epidural and they break my water. Still a 3. awesome.
And we wait.
Longer than I had expected.
I was shooting for 2 pm.
Nope.
Our doctor, Dr. Allred had to go to his son's soccer tournament at 330, I knew we'd probably deliver when he was gone.
Of course.
Waiting and waiting....
Then, they empty my bladder to make sure, I'm at a 9, not bad.
She calls Dr. Evans to let him know it'll be soon.
But I can tell what's going on after this...his heart rate was dropping out. Sometimes that happens when baby descends more. But it woudn't come back. It wasn't decelerating, it was gone.
I started to worry a bit.
{I find out later} She called Dr. Evans again and told him he needed to come right away. Like NOW.
They are setting up the room and I'm trying not to alarm Drew.
I know what's going on.
Dr. Evans storms into the room, ripping off clothes and getting dressed into the paper covers. He barely says hello and sets up the rest of the stuff. He asks he what's the rush, the nurse points to the heart rate monitor and he says okay.Then he reaches under my legs and pulls me down rushing to get me into position. He tells me I'm going to need to push -- good -- like really good -- or he's going to need to take him out.

I push.
Big.
Hard.
I fell like I could pass out I'm pushing that hard and holding my breath.
He has to turn him around since he was facing the wrong way. How, you ask? Yeah, manually, reached in there and turned him. Yep.

Next push.
Seriously going to pass out.
Trying not to cry.
Scared to death.

Next push
Praying that he's okay.
Praying that he's not stillborn like I feared.
Praying he's okay.
please be okay.....

And He's out.
I'm so relieved.
I am distracted by Andrew hugging me. Telling me I did a good job.
They don't give him to me right away though -- like they said they would. I don't get immediate skin to skin like they wanted me to do.

I'm terrified

Then I hear him cry --oh sweet relief!
And then I realize what is happening around me.
There is blood everywhere, on the cabinents, in the nurse's hair and on her face. It looks like a blood bath. Seriously. They are joking about the blood and the mess. I'm apologizing, of course.
Dr.. Evans explains what I obviously missed {thankfully, or I'd be more freaked out.} He said he's never seen anything like it before. {what?!?} The cord was like paper. Gavin's head was out and he was undoing the cord from his neck, it was loose enough, not tight, it gave away easily, but it snapped right in two. {He says that most cords are tough, like bungee cords} Not Gavin's. That explains the blood. It wasn't clamped off yet, they usually leave it until baby is fully out. That's why they took him to get looked at first.
He was ok.
They checked him and he weighed in at 6 lbs 15 oz and 21 in long {we don't have big babies} they gave him to me and he had these big brown eyes and black hair. Lighter skin {surprising} and I was in love the moment I got to hold him. So glad he was ok.
Glad to have my baby boy in my arms.
The boy I feared wouldn't make it from the begining.
Maybe my fears were irrational. Maybe not. I googled a broken umbilical cord, and where sometimes things are fine, it is very common in stillbirths. I think about my fears in the beginning. What if I went longer? What if we went all the way to 42 weeks? I don't know if we would have had a good outcome. I know we wouldn't have. The basis of my fears - well, my Grandmother had a stillborn baby boy. My aunt had a still born baby boy. I wanted this little man more than anything and I'm very glad I was induced at 40 weeks. Sorry haters :)

Ry will be 1!

{click on picture to make it bigger}

Ryleigh will be 1 on Saturday!
Can you believe it?!?! I know I can't
My baby isn't a baby anymore!
And proof of her toddler-ness, she decided to walk more than her usual 2-3 steps then fall during her photo shoot I did for her.
She is dang cute!
We should enter her into a beautiful baby contest for some magazine.....if only she had more hair. Those girls always win! Ry's hair is long, but thin. She's still cute though.
She is cutting tooth #3 so she's not so happy and #4 is on it's way as well.
She is happy and talkative and also screams and tells her sissy what to do.
She really is hilarious. I love watching her sometimes & her reactions to things.
We are having a party on Saturday and can't wait for Mom, Auntie Amber, Uncle Jared, Kyler, and all of our friends to be here to celebrate. Then, Mom and Uncle Karson will be here too!
SO very exciting!
Love these girls of ours!

SHe loves the bongos. They are so much fun for her!

Favorite Bread Recipes

Post #200 y'all!!!
I wish I had a giveaway for you but, alas, you get bread instead :)
I wanted to share a few of my favorite recipes that I've found through Pinterest.
This is my bread edition

Coconut Banana Bread

it's made with coconut milk. 'nough said.
{add some chocolate chips to it, makes it even better!}

Cornbread
This cornbread is so yummy!
It is made in an iron skillet and has just the amount of sweetness to it.
We have eaten the whole pan at one snack-time before and still wanted more. seriously yummy!

Flour Tortillas

We make these all the time. Hubby loves them, Child likes them {she could care less, really.} And Baby like them {when she is actually in the mood to eat something. she's weird lately.}
Because of these I make some sort of fajitas/taco/burrito thingy like at elast once a week.
These will make me fat. I swear. dang carbs and gluten stuff making me feel yucky.
{So, I don't exactly eat them for this reason. trying to cut it out, but that's another topic for another day}

Banana Bread with Almond Orange Glaze
super yummy, made this once and hubs LOVED it, he asked again for it a few times but has stopped, I think he forgot. Hahaha. win.
The glaze makes you want to eat as much of it as you can. de-lish!

6-ingredient Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins
This is a really easy recipe. One of the ingredients is Bisquick. It was a great "lets make this and get rid of the bisquick" recipe. Plus, we didn't have enough flour at the time to make anything from "scratch." But they are YUMMY! Just the right amount of fluffiness, and not dry. Really good.

Coconut Flour Tortillas
So, like I said above, bread makes me fat. No lie. there is instant yucky feeling involved with it. SO Instead of flour tortillas I make these coconut flour tortillas. They are paleo, so grain free! They use egg whites and coconut flour and water. That's it! {Don't use the baking powder as listed optional or it will turn out like a pancake -- so if you want pancakes, just add some vanilla and the baking powder! :)} Try them, they work great if you can't have gluten or want to go paleo. {warning, they are a bit delicate and rip easily}

Coconut Flour Bread
I'm not going to lie, coconut flour makes things a bit dry. I am still trying to find a good coconut flour bread recipe. This isn't super awesome, but it's one of the best I have come by so far. I added more honey to the mix in here just to make it a bit sweeter. It is dry when cold, but heat it up a bit and add nutella and it seriously tastes like yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Great for a grain-free diet!

What are some of your favorite bread recipes {with or without gluten} that other bloggers have posted about?

Planting times

So I was looking up gardening stuff...again.
I keep looking at and forgetting when frost dates are and stuff. So they will be here :)
easy acess, right?
That's how we like it here.

Last Frost Date (2013): 7/6
First Frost Date (2013): 8/16
Average Growing Season: >53 days
USDA Hardiness Zone: 4

I was so sad to see that the last frost date for where I currently live is all the way in JULY!! Kind of wrong on so many levels. I am so impatient! What in the world am I supposed to do until then, or until the 6-8 weeks before that date when I can start my seeds??
I feel like I'm going stir crazy with this garden stuff....let's get started already!!!!

Deep Freeze

So I seriously want to start my garden!
Like I'm sort of angry that I can't start it NOW.
I'm impatient like that, if you didn't know.
There is still like 3 inches {at least} of snow on the ground. I have bought my plot for the season. And am almost ready to start my seeds indoors {I just need some soil, lights, and maybe a heating pad thingy...oh....and seeds! hahaha.} I guess I have some shopping to do.
Dang Rexburg.
It's so cold here.
Ok, it was worse a few weeks ago. Like highs in the teens, maybe. Deep Freeze weather.
The snow fell over a month ago. It has just been that cold that it has taken a while to melt. Weird thing is, I'm colder now than when it was like 9 outside. weird.
I'm planning big things for my garden, BUT I might need to go online to by some seeds. OR, I can't plant them at all. HMmmmm.....Like tomatillo and eggplant. How well would they grow here? If I can't even find seeds for it....yeah.
Besides those, I'm planning on: tomato, jalepenos, peppers, carrots, zucchini, parsnips, spinach, cabbage, summer squash, pole beans, snap peas, basil and turnips.
Sometimes I think i'm crazy.
Too much to handle? Maybe.
It will be good for us to learn somehow. And K will love going out to water things or watch stuff grow. Ry too. If she doesn't eat the soil again. Crazy girl!! She eats the toilet paper too!!
I wish I learned all this gardening stuff earlier in my life. Like when I lived in places that the garden times were a lot longer. Oh well. That's why I'd like to teach the girls now, and build upon it as they get older so maybe they might have some interest when they are older, not learning the hard way like me. Hahaha. Better late than never, right?
That's what it's all about..gardening & life lessons.
That sounds so cheezy.

I think....

Yep, I'm just going to say it.....
I think Katy Perry is pregnant.....
John Mayer & Katy Perry's 'Very Cute' Night Out
Photo from People.com

YUP.
Then that means Mr. "I was a jerk" douche bag John Mayer is the baby daddy.
Maybe he really has turned over a new leaf.
Maybe he isn't as womanizing and douche-y as before.
I actually really like Katy Perry. When I fould out they were dating, I didn't think it was the best move, but then again she did marry Russell Brand.
Does what I say matter? Nope. But I want it out there so I can say "I called it!"
Hahaha.
Not really. But really....

{sorry if you are offended by the d-bag term used, that's as profane as I get}

Weigh-in WednesdayTime

Weigh-In Wednesday
{Yeah, I know it's Thursday. Whatevs.}

10 months Post Partum
8.5 months since workouts began

                                                                                                      Source: lindawagner.net

my initial weight: 160 lbs
goal: 125 lbs/lose 35 lb
Current Weight: 125.2
Total loss: 34.8 lbs
left to goal: .2 lbs

SO I've basically lost ALL the weight I wanted to lose!!! It's all the baby #2 weight PLUS another 5 lbs :) {baby #1 weight} I've been at about 130ish since about 6 months PP, but you know....got busy and didn't post.
I'd still like to lose another 5 lbs {still baby #1 weight} but I'm perfectly ok with the number that I'm at.
I workout to look good, which means I want to look lean and muscular. Not bulky, of course, but I want to look like I'm in shape. I don't need to look like a skinny sick stick girl. I'm fit. I lift weights, I do cardio, I circuit train, I did P90x.
I still do.
We are going to do another lazy man iron man in February. That means an Iron Man challenge that you have a month to complete. In November we did it and I completed it by November 20th! Yeahhh buddy! Was like #33 to complete it out of all the people who signed up! Legit!!

My diet isn't as strictly tracked {by MyFitnessPal} anymore, but I am still aware of what I eat. I'm still trying to eat better and better. More veggies, like mostly veggies. Some fruit and meats and I still have a sweet tooth problem. I shouldn't have taught my hubby how to make his favorite chocolate chip cookies. You know what they say....teach a man how to fish, he'll never go hungry. Yeah, that was a bad idea. haha. But, on the plus side....I can spend time doing other things instead of making some cookies.

so some pictures of my progress....

left: 1 month & 5 days before #2 was born
right: the day she was born {fatty} lol my face was huge!

left: 3 weeks postpartum {I swear I look bigger here.}
right: about 4 months postpartum

9 months postpartum

{picture still coming ;)}

today

 {this computer is being dumb and won't let me download}

where I'd like to be at. haha. OK, honestly....I just want the long hair back. SO.dang.bad!

My body has become weird.
I'm still uber top-heavy. I have stick/muscular legs and basically no more butt. wth? like gone. I still have a bit of a belly and big boobs and chest cavity. it's weird. I can't explain it.

{there should be a pic here to show you....the jeggings (yes, I said it) i am wearing fall off of me now. in the pic, I have hips, a bum, and you can see that my top half is smaller than it is now.....oh woe.}

 I weigh less but even after baby #2 my body is different again. what's with that? What's going to happen after baby #3?
I don't want to think about that yet. Too soon....Too soon.

Random FYI

1. I just wrote a blog post and it's all gone. ALL of it.
I'm pissed.
I'm not rewriting it at this time, I'm still to mad. ughhhh!
The real reason for this post:

2. There is a difference between the words breath and breathe.
A breath is a noun like: "Take a deep breath" or "Your breath smells."
To breathe is a verb like: "Breathe deeply" and "I can hardly breathe."

3. There is a difference between the words teeth and teethe
Teeth are the pearly whites in your mouth, it is the plural of tooth.
Teethe is a verb, "to teethe" is to experience the emergence of your teeth through the gums. Babies teethe.
"The baby's has been drooling and chewing on everything, she is teething. She will be getting teeth soon"

See the differences?
Just a random thought for today. FYI.
Please use such words correctly.
Why is this bothering me so much? I have no idea either.
But seriously, no reason to sound dumb if you can help it.
just sayin.

Tonight for Family Home Evening we did an interview of Miss K.
I am creating a scrapbook of this interview and it will include the Q&A, a picture, an outline of her hand, and a drawing of herself.
It's so much fun to find out the answers! Hopefully we can do this every 6 months on both girls and see how they grow and change. Right now, Ry's doesn't include a Q&A. She's super smart & advanced, but you know, we haven't quite reached the talking stage. But her's will include a "what I'm doing now" section, at 7 months she:

-loves her big sister
-doesn't sleep through the night
-loves to slam her legs down when lying on her back
-still mainly sleeps on her back
-shakes her head no
-loves the bath, she could spend all day in there

Besides her running around like crazy at times. typical.
And Ry wanting to eat the paper. also typical.
I can't wait to get those pages done and show you. I'm just going to use a 3 ring binder and page protectors. So an 8.5 x 11 format.
There are more questions, but more for older children. It will be fun when she can write and I make her write them. I'm excited!!

Elections are tomorrow, that is probably fueling my excitement.

Pecan Sticky Buns

{photo taken on my phone....better photos coming -- once I make them again}

Drew's mom makes these amazing sticky buns.
I still don't have the recipe for them. So I searched, where else, pinterest!
I came across these Caramel Pecan Rolls
So I gave them a try...and they came out pretty good! There is some tweaking that I will post in my re-post of this recipe. It's just easier for me to find if I post it. Plus, I'm going to try like 2 other recipes and post them. New things coming....new things.
{like me actually, maybe having time to blog!! oh my!}

So first you need a dough.
You can use a frozen bread dough if you want. Or your own roll recipe. I just used this Yeast Bread recipe:

2 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon salt
1 1/2 Tablespoon shortening
1 package dry yeast
2 cups warm water
up to 6 cups flour

Soften yeast in warm water. (about five minutes.) It will go from 'grainy' looking to smooth once it is softened.

Add sugar and shortening.
{next time I want to add in some orange zest here......hmmm}

Add 2 cups flour. Whisk until well blended. Add salt. (Do not skip the salt. Salt strengthens the gluten protein.)
Add 2 cups more flour. Mix with spoon until sticky ball forms. Dough will be pretty sticky.

Get a place ready on your counter. Flour the counter with about 1/2 cup of flour. (Bringing your total flour to 4 1/2 cups now.)

Set a kitchen timer for 11 minutes. You're going to be kneading the bread for 10 minutes minimum and the extra minute is to turn the dough onto the floured surface and either wash your mixing bowl or find a clean one to put the kneaded dough into. Don't forget to wash your hands and take off your rings.

Turn out onto well floured counter. Knead for a minimum of 10 minutes adding only enough flour to keep dough from sticking.

You will notice too that as you get close to the 10 minute mark your hands will be much cleaner. The dough is almost ready!

Place kneaded dough into greased bowl.

Cover with towel and let rise until double in size. Rising time will vary depending on the temperature where the dough is sitting.
Filling:
1/4 cup butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Caramel Sauce:
{everything but the nuts are doubled}
1 cup {chopped} pecans
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
4 Tablespoons corn syrup

After the first rise of bread dough, roll out on a well floured surface. You want it to be approximately 1/4 inch thick and rectangular in shape. 18x21 inch would be a good size. I don't get out a yard stick and measure. I also don't panic if the edges aren't perfect.

Let the dough rest while you make the caramel sauce.

Melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat until completely dissolved.
Add corn syrup.

Grease 9x13 pan and place pecans in bottom.

Pour syrup over pecans and using spoon rearrange pecans as desired.
Mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough to reshape and spread softened butter over entire piece. Sprinkle sugar mixture over margarine.

Grabbing the short end (18") start to roll into a log working your way up. After it is rolled make sure the seam side is facing down.

Cut the log into uniform pieces. An easy way to do this without measuring is to cut it in half, then cut the half in half and so on until you have approximately 1 inch rolls.
Place the rolls in a greased 9x13 inch cake pan on top of the caramel mixture.
Let rise until double in size. This happens pretty fast because the sauce is warm and speeds up the process.
Preheat oven to 350F. Bake for 30 minutes until center looks like it is no longer doughy.

Set rolls on a cooling rack for 10 minutes. Many like to remove the rolls right away but that is asking for burns. I know from experience. It's painful if the caramel splashes on you.

Place a serving plate over rolls and invert as quickly as you can. Let pan rest over rolls for a minute or two so any remaining caramel sauce can run down.

This is what her rolls looked like {1/2 the recipe}
Pull apart and enjoy!

I ate one immediately and didn't really like it too much.
seriously.
weird? yeah. it wasn't sweet enough {the dough part}
BUT
I went back after about an hour and it was YUMMY!!

Weigh-in Wednesday!

{from pinterest}

Week 18

my initial weight 5/9/12: 160 lbs
goal: 125 lbs/lose 35 lbs.

weight 8/29/12:  137.4 lbs.
weight today 9/12/12: 136.4 lbs.
2 week loss:  1 lbs.
Total loss: 23.6 lbs.
left to goal:  11.4 lbs.

College has started up again and this town has gotten crazy!!
we have been doing workouts every night
the machines are FULL
we just go straight to the spin bikes anyways but still!!
messing up our gym
swear, dang kiddos. don't they realize that we own this gym?
we have been going there for the past 18 weeks. some weeks more than others, but it is still ours!
ahhhh
it's okay. it's like new years to them. i'm sure it'll calm down in a few weeks.

slow weight loss again for me
that's ok.
it's just muscle building again.
i'm okay with that.
i think.
yeah ok.

my pants fit again!!
I have a bit of a muffin top still--dang baby belly!
but that's also going down!! :) sweet!
bummer: my butt is gone again :/ sucks. on leg day I make sure my weights are set high, trying to build a butt if I have to. I have skinny chicken legs.
I wish I was pear-shaped.
i know what you will say: the grass is greener......whateves.
I'm apple shaped. top heavy. big boobs & gain weight in my belly. not cool my friend. not cool. pro: my legs look dang good. I have skinny ankles and nice calves. a small butt, but like no cellulite  {when i'm not preggo/post-partum at least}
but yeah, i've got love-handles and back fat and a baby belly--that I even had BEFORE I had any babies. weird. i know.
I just wish I had a booty.
hips would be nice.
oh well.
my hubby thinks i'm hot. that's all that matters.

Weigh-out....huh?

I forgot to weigh myself this am! What!??!?
Yeah, don't know how that happened. I'm usually obsessed.
I'm off to go workout. Don't have the energy, but I will anyways! And I will be in a better mood after :) don't you love how exercise can do that? Love it! I have a few addictions.... Chocolate is one, working out might be another....hmmmm.... Ok, maybe not.... I do love me some sleep too. Anyways, until tomorrow, when I'm not using the iPod to write this. Or nursing the baby.
Fingers crossed for more results!
Now....go work out!!

Week 16

It's been a while....
BUT
I've still worked out.
We went to Cali., Had some campouts, fun trips and lack of funding to buy healthier items.
yes, I kind of ate badly.
BUT still worked out.
yep! and counted calories. The MyFitnessPal app is my BFF. Besides my workout buddy.
Don't have them? You need them. Both!

SO here are the stats!

my initial weight 5/9/12: 160 lbs
goal: 125 lbs/lose 35 lbs.

weight 7/11/12:  144 lbs.
weight today 8/29/12: 137.4 lbs.
Monthy-ish loss:  6.6 lbs.
Total loss: 22.6 lbs.
left to goal:  12.4 lbs.

YEP!!
So happy to be below 140!!
Ahhhh that's NICE!
Most of my pants button {the "bigger" ones and comfy ones} I still have a belly that I need to get rid of. {blah!! that's where most of the weight is!}
But I am getting there!
Only 7 more lbs to be pre-baby R
12.4 lbs to be at my goal
17.4 lbs more to be at about pre-baby K!
Easy-peasy!
seems like it now, right.
It just takes dedication, motivation, and an understanding hubby :)
he's awesome {even if he does sabotage my diet most of the time with is need for me to bake goodies. lol}
this week marked our going "hardcore" again
i.am.sore.
understatement!!
I LOVE it!!
even if it is harder for me to sit on the potty now than when I was 42 weeks preggo.
yup. hurts that bad!
it's good for me! :)

Earrings

we took miss R to get her ears pierced.
on her 4 month birthday.
we were still at A&J's after coming back from California.
A was all for it. So were we, of course.
Uncle J had the job of holding her while it was done.
Daddy didn't have the heart to do it.

notice the shirt.
one day she will know you did this to her auntie A. lol.
jk.
I did.

had no clue.

she didn't like having her head held down for the markings.

so happy and unaware......

then the pain.
poor thing.

oh that face can break your heart.

auntie A was crying, I almost cried myself. Drew stayed away. lol.
but she looks SO cute now.
so much more girly.
people may think I'm wrong, a bad parent or like submitted her to torture.
oh well, my kid, not yours :)

she hasn't touched them once
hasn't paid they any mind.
there was some adjustment with nursing - I don't want my arm to put pressure on them. but it's fine.
she was miss happy soon after.
