On Sunday, April 22nd it was Ryleigh's blessing day.
It was a beautiful warm day. A little windy, but sunny.
Church is at 1:30 so we got there nice and early
Thankfully, I read on Michelle's blog about having someone take notes!
PERFECT
I always forget anything that is said and I want to remember this.
Drew was super nervous.
like reallly, really nervous!!
it was cute.
but he did a wonderful job!
What a great thing to have a worthy priesthood holder in your home. Such a blessing.
And the fact that Grandpa and Uncle Jared were able to come and help, makes it even more special.
we appreciate them and the time they took to get here {and money spent on plane tickets :)}
Drew's bestfriend Andrew VW lives here and also helped, as well as Bishop Egbert and Brother Bitter from the High Council
Some of the blessings:
-to recognize the spirit and being able to listen to it
-the spirit will influence you to make good decisions
-to be a beacon and an example to all those around you, including your family and your big sister.
-courage and strength to stand for what is right and to live righteously
-to find a worthy priesthood holder to help you on your celestial journey and to bring you to the temple
{thank you so much to Monika for writing these down for me!}
love grandma/grandpa time!
We took lots of pictures and K was super excited and energetic.
so she needed some tickle time from auntie Amber.
just for you all....this is what a crazy 3 year old really does on the side lines of pictures...you know...when she is DONE.
quite funny thou!
what exactly is she doing here?!?!
weirdo!
and one last pic of the girl of the day!
wearing some wonderfully croched booties that Great Grandma Erickson made {i believe...}
cute!!
Oh. Miss R is wearing K's blessing dress, why not?
Big thanks again to all those who participated!! :)
